SirionLabs Appoints CLM Industry Veteran Rajeev Kumar as Chief Revenue Officer to Spearhead Next Phase of Hypergrowth

Former iCertis executive to drive sales, marketing and strategic partnership efforts for SirionLabs

Seattle, WA – May 10, 2021 SirionLabs, the leader in AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM) technology, today announced the appointment of Rajeev Kumar as Chief Revenue Officer. A seasoned leader in the enterprise technology space, Rajeev brings more than 20 years of experience in guiding clients on their digital transformation journey. Rajeev will be responsible for spearheading SirionLabs’ aggressive market expansion plans, with direct responsibility for sales, marketing and strategic partnership eco-system.

Over the past 5 years, Rajeev was a key member of the sales and executive leadership at iCertis, a leading CLM provider with a market valuation of $2.8B. As the head of sales for the European region, he played an instrumental role in accelerating iCertis’ market expansion.

CLM is today one of the fastest-growing enterprise software categories – and has emerged as a strategic business platform critical for running the business alongside other established categories such as ERP, CRM and P2P. In a significant departure from its historically siloed existence, CLM today sits at the center of the enterprise connecting all parts of the business including procurement, sales, legal, finance, risk, IT and operations. The growing importance of the CLM category is reflected in the accelerated investment momentum in the space, with several providers announcing sizable investments in the past 12 months – including the $44M series C funding for SirionLabs in May 2020.

“The role of CLM as a business enabler and a competitive advantage is well recognized today. CLM providers with the technology to respond to this elevated role will see a major surge in their growth trajectory over the next couple of years.” said Rajeev. “SirionLabs is ideally positioned to lead the growth in this space. It offers an integrated CLM platform relevant for the whole enterprise. Its ground-breaking AI engine puts enterprises in control of their business by unlocking the intelligence hidden in their contracts. I am thrilled to join the SirionLabs team and look forward to helping the company accelerate its global growth.”

SirionLabs has solidified its position as a CLM leader by consistently delivering category-defining innovations. The company was recently recognized as a Leader in the Forrester CLM Wave Report 2021 as well as a Value Leader in SpendMatters’ 2021 CLM Solution Map. It is also positioned as a Visionary in Gartner’s 2020 CLM Magic Quadrant. More than 200 industry-leading organizations including Vodafone, Unilever and The Bank of New York Mellon rely on SirionLabs’ AI-powered CLM to manage 3.5+ million contracts across 100+ countries.

“Rajeev is an accomplished leader in the CLM industry with extensive experience in driving sales in high growth markets. Having played a key role in shaping the CLM market over the past several years, Rajeev brings the specialized experience and leadership needed to accelerate SirionLabs’ already strong growth trajectory,” said Ajay Agrawal, Co-founder and CEO, SirionLabs. “I look forward to partnering with Rajeev in expanding the reach of Sirion’s innovative CLM technology to drive improved business outcomes for organizations globally.”
